How to Go to Hell in 7 Easy Steps
Why would anyone want to go to Hell?
That is a good question. While you ponder that question let me ask you another…
Why do many not care about the destination of their soul?
Professionals say that many problems of today can be treated or solved with what is known as a “7 Step Program”.
This
may or may not be true, and this message is not to agree or disagree with that theory. The purpose of this message
and
every message I preach is to stop the sinner where they are and turn them toward Jesus Christ for salvation.
Sir, Ma’am, young person, older person…read carefully.
There is only one way to God. One.
Through the provision God made in His Son Jesus Christ.
Many, many years ago people tried to find another way to God. Of course, it failed. But that has not deterred untold
millions
from trying their own “ways” to reach God.
Read the following scripture from Genesis 11:1-9.
“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east,
that
they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick,
and
burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build
us a city
and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the
face of
the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the
Lord
said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be
restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language,
that they
may not understand one another’s speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the
earth:
and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the
language
of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.”
You may ask, “What does this have to do with Hell?”
As I wrote earlier in this message; many are not concerned with the destination of their souls. Or, should I say, as
long as
they think they are on their way to Heaven.
First, you must understand that Hell is real.
Hell is the destination of all who are caught outside the grace of Jesus Christ. Hell is for those who are not covered by
the
blood that Jesus shed on Calvary for the forgiveness of man’s sin.
Hell is a real place. There is a Heaven; therefore there also is a Hell. It is impossible to believe in Heaven, but not in
Hell. My
friend, not everyone goes to Heaven when they die.
Hell is reality.
Therefore, I am compelled to write these following words…
The people in the area of Babel were united together for a purpose…to build a tower that may “reach Heaven”.
Stepping
outside the will of God Almighty, they began this building project.
They wanted to “get to God”.
As I previously mentioned, there is only one way to God.
This leads to the first step in going to Hell.
Trying to find or get to God in some other way than through the Son of God, Jesus Christ, will surely take you to Hell.
John 14:6 tells the words of Christ himself.
“Jesus saith unto him (the disciple Thomas), I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but
by
me.” (explanation mine)
There is no other way to God but through the channel of His Son Jesus Christ.
Some religions tell you that there are other ways to reach God. An example would the “praying to saints”. This is
seen as an
additional channel to having prayers answered. My friend, this is not biblical. The Bible adamantly teaches against
praying
to anyone but the Lord himself.
I Timothy 2:5 tells you, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”
There is one mediator.
A mediator is someone who intervenes or acts as the middle-man between two people or parties of persons.
There is nothing a dead “saint” can do to help you. They cannot hear your prayers, and they certainly cannot answer
them
or even “take them to the Father” for you.
A priest cannot intercede between you and God, to give you forgiveness from sin. Only God can forgive sin.
If you want to go to Hell, just follow this easy guide, step-by-step, and you will end up there.
The second step in going to Hell is to reject the idea of a real, living God.
Psalm 14:1 reads, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.”
It has been said that an atheist cannot find God for the same reason a thief cannot find a policeman.
They do not want to.
God is Hope for all mankind. By not believing in the true, living God in Heaven, you are admitting that there is no
hope for
you.
Why would anyone choose to live their life having no hope or aspirations for their future? Why would you allow
yourself to
be fooled into believing the lies of the devil and society that say God is just a myth? That God is an “idea”? Lies that
say
God is a “state of mind”?
Some religions teach that God is whatever you make Him out to be.
My friend, that is a bold-faced lie!!
You are what you are because God Made You!
You must absolutely trust in the fact that there is one true, living, holy God who rules and reigns from the throne
room of
Heaven.
Otherwise, you will find yourself in Hell.
The third step in the easy program of “Hell-bound souls” is to deny the deity of Jesus Christ.
That means simply, that you have said that Jesus is not who the Bible says He is. In other words, you have taken
away from
the fact that Jesus is God. That He was born of a virgin. That He has always co-existed with the Father in Heaven.
Jesus Himself stated in John 10:30, “I and my Father are one.”
Satan and his demons also testified to the deity of Christ.
Luke 4:41, “And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And He
rebuking
them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that He was Christ.”
All who come to the Lord for salvation must admit that Jesus Christ is Lord. You must believe that Jesus was without
sin, the
unspotted, perfect Lamb, suitable for the sacrifice for all mans sins.
All these things show the deity, or lordship of Jesus Christ.
Fourthly, there shall be no escape from Hell for those who blaspheme the Holy Ghost.
Jesus said in Mark 3:29, “But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in
danger of
eternal damnation:”
Many assume that this solely means that those who “make fun of the Holy Ghost or Its workings” will be damned to
Hell.
In part, it means that, but alongside that, God is saying that those who reject the Holy Ghost’s pleading and drawing
on man’
s hearts for salvation for too long, are in danger of Hell.
The Holy Ghost is the third person of the triune (three-part) Godhead. God works on earth now, specifically through
the
presence of the Holy Ghost.
The primary job of the Holy Ghost is to deal with man in their position of sin and iniquity, and move upon their souls to
come
to the Lord for salvation.
When this is met with rejection it grieves the very heart of God, and the Holy Ghost is ignored and dejected. God’s
grace is
the only remedy for this situation, but there comes a point in time that the Holy Ghost will pull back from the heart of
the
scornful and withdraw His Spirit from that soul.
This is the result of “grieving the Spirit (Holy Ghost) of God”, and leads to one place, the pits of Hell.
The fifth step to a sure ticket into the depths of Hell is to live in defiance of God’s commandments.
Revelation 21:8 gives an incomplete listing of those who will be found in Hell.
“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and
idolaters, and
all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
As you can see, those who refuse to accomplish God’s will by living a lifestyle outside God’s righteousness will all be
found
in Hell.
Why so many take a chance and live ungodly in this day and age baffles me. God does not take disobedience and
rebellion
lightly.
ALL SIN WILL BE DEALT WITH BY GOD’S JUDGMENT!
Hell is the final destination of everyone who is lost in sin when they stand before God’s judgment seat.
Step six in the easy plan to Hell is to stand in the way, or become a “stumbling block” to someone else’s relationship
with
God Almighty.
Again Jesus was quoted in Matthew 18:7-9, “Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that
offences
come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off,
and cast
them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be
cast into
everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life
with one
eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.”
An offence could be defined as anything that would “hinder or affect someone else’s life in a negative way”.
This could be murder. It could be an affair. It could be keeping the truth from someone.
An offence could be not feeding a starving child when you have the means to do it.
It could be being a poor example to your children.
Standing in the way of someone who is striving to live Godly is a dangerous place to stand.
Jesus was adamant concerning this subject. It is a very serious thing to be the cause of someone else’s failure.
It is also a sure way to end up in Hell.
The seventh, and final way(dealt with here) to wind up in Hell is to delay your decision to accept Christ and live a
Godly life
until it is too late and you are taken from this life, or Christ returns for His Bride, and you are left behind.
Consider this equation:
Procrastination = Damnation
Hell is full of those whom put off the decision to receive Christ as Saviour until it was too late.
If Hell’s inhabitants could speak today, they would scream in a unified voice,
“Don’t wait until it’s too late!!!”
As you can see, this is an easy program. You really don’t have to do anything to go to Hell.
That is the reason so many are there, because they did not do anything.
You must make a decision.
To seek Heaven and shun Hell, or
To take the easy way…And be LOST FOREVER!!!
