Take God Up On His Offer

Acts 24:22-25 reads,

"And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge
of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief
captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have
liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to
minister or come unto him. And after certain days, when Felix came
with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and
heard him concerning the faith in Christ. And as he reasoned of
righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled,
and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient
season, I will call for thee."

Certainly sad words spoken by this governor named Felix.

And, the same words are uttered in the hearts and from the lips of
men and women worldwide still today.

"When it is convenient..."

May God Almighty smite the hearts of all who read this, and awaken
the soul to a true need of relationship with Him.

Felix, a man of prestige, a man of power had just been introduced
to the absolute "prestige and power."

Jesus Christ.

Apostle Paul had reasoned with Felix concerning,

"righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come."

Isaiah prophesied the words of our Lord.

 "Come now, and let us
reason together..."
                         - Isaiah 1:18

God simply desires to draw his creation back into proper
relationship with Him.

He longs to offer you reconciliation.

A re-connection. A repair. A reunion.

Isaiah continues,

"...though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as
snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

God longs to offer you cleansing.

Righteousness. A pure heart. A holy life.

He longs to offer you forgiveness.

Pardon. Reprieve. Remission of sins.

God longs to offer you freedom.

Liberty. Deliverance. Salvation.

Is there ever a more convenient time to attain any of the previous
benefits from the Lord?

If your boss gave you a bonus, would you ask him,

"Sorry Boss, but can you give this to me when I might
really need
it?"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?!?!?!?

Why then do you reject the greatest gift ever given?

Why do you procrastinate in your decision for God?

Why wait another moment?

Take God up on His offer!

Do not reject Him. Accept Him.

"...behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of
salvation." - II Corinthians 6:2
